Omni JQ e-bike / scooter on TrackeraX

The Omni JQ e-bike / scooter is a GPS tracker that works with TrackeraX over the omnijq protocol on port 6400. From the platform it supports request position, reporting interval and engine stop, plus custom commands. The server decodes 5 alarm types from this protocol, such as fall, fault and low battery.

How to connect it to TrackeraX

  1. Insert a SIM card with mobile data and set the APN of your carrier on the device.
  2. Set the server to the domain of your TrackeraX platform and the port 6400 (omnijq protocol).
  3. Create the device in TrackeraX with its IMEI or identifier and choose the Omni JQ e-bike / scooter model.
  4. Wait for the first position and turn the parameters above into sensors and alerts.

The exact commands to set the APN and server depend on the firmware: check the manufacturer's manual or ask our support team.
